Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack inks Marketing Deal
Philadelphia, PA --- The new Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack has retained Philadelphia-based Branding Rights LLC and Starboard Advertising Group of Georgia to package, sell and manage sponsorship opportunities at Harrah’s racino in Delaware County, Penn., according to Branding Rights’ CEO Charles Geffen.
Harrah’s Chester is returning exciting, world class harness racing to the Delaware Valley two decades after the closings of Liberty Bell Racetrack and Brandywine Raceway.
The racetrack opened on September 10, 2006 for its inaugural harness racing meet, with the slots casino scheduled to open this year, subject to regulatory approval. It is anticipated that Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack will draw three million visitors a year, topping the Liberty Bell as the number one destination in the Philadelphia area.
"Branding Rights and Starboard Advertising bring an unparalleled combination of racing and advertising expertise to the Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack," Chuck Geffen, CEO of Branding Rights, said. "We are thrilled about the opening of Harrah’s new racino, and the exciting opportunities presented for sponsors to maximize exposure through innovative rights packages."
“This is an exciting time for the racino industry,” Steve Geltman, CMO of Starboard Advertising, said. "As companies seek new, diverse mediums to carry their messages to consumers, racino sponsorships offer a way to break through the clutter." |
